Inventor Dominic L. Giacona of Oak Harbor, WA has created a biodegradable disposable insert for keeping shaker cups clean.
Many people use “shaker cups” to consume drinks mixed with protein powder. Prior to consumption, the powder is added to the cup and is vigorously shaken until mixed. Even so, undissolved clumpy powder always manages to remain behind. Cleaning these cups becomes an issue when the powder inevitably gets stuck in the corners. When this happens, even a seemingly clean cup will start to smell. After losing count of how many shaker cups he’d thrown away, Inventor Giacona was inspired to create the Shaker Sleeves!
